Locating Books for Your Topic

The collection of the Mount Aloysius Library has been developed to support the curricula in all disciplines.  Mountlink, the Library's online catalog, provides quick and concise information for locating publications held in the Library.  Your search for books should always begin with Mountlink.

Consult with a reference librarian for assistance in refining your search of Mountlink to be assured that your search results are both comprehensive and specific to your topic.

If you are still experiencing difficulty in locating suitable items for your project, it is a good idea to search other online catalogs to help you identify suitable resources.  Once you know which titles you want, recheck Mountlink as certain titles may not have shown up in your original search results.

If the books you want are not available in the Mount Aloysius College Library, you may either order them directly through E-ZBorrow or submit an Interlibrary Loan request.

Looking Ahead to the Completed Paper

After you've collected all your resources, analyzed them and gone through all the steps in the process of using them to write a paper, you'll need to know how to give credit for the ideas and quotes that you've taken from these resources.  Look on the "Research Help" page and click on the Citation Formats tab.
