Ask a Librarian - an E-Mail Reference Service

Use this e-mail service for answers to questions you might ask at the Reference Desk.

Some examples:

Requests for brief factual information or statistics
Help with an incomplete citation
Identification of a historical fact
Biographical information
Suggestions about sources for research

Please provide as much detail as possible. Include any guidelines your instructor has given you. If we can’t answer your question by e-mail, we’ll let you know and suggest what to do instead. We strive to respond to all e-mail questions within 24 hours Monday through Thursday and 48 hours Friday to Sunday when classes are in session.
